Rogers Baits, begun as a hobby in the early summer of 2024. My Grandson, Colton (11) and I were looking for new and fun
things we could do together during his annual vacation time
with myself and his grandma. Bait making became something
new for him to encourage a merge between social media and
actual doing. We would watch videos together and then apply
what we seen, to how things would turn out! Colton, having his
Grandma’s eye for art, would select the color combinations.
We would then pour our new soft plastic baits together and
wait for them to cool with great expectations. It wasn’t long
before we discovered that there were two types of baits,
the kind that attract THE FISHERMAN and the kind
that attract THE FISH!.

Rim Country Custom Rods is a world class manufacturer of custom fishing rods specializing in all types of fresh water rods including spinning, casting and fly rods. Every fishing rod manufactured by RCCR is static tested, as well as actual casting, prior to final size selection and placement of guides. This testing is critical to ensure maximum casting performance of the rod and most importantly fighting the fish. In addition, we use only proven materials to build our rods. This includes using only perfect blanks from our preferred suppliers to achieve high sensitivity and reliability. We do not use “seconds” or “reject” blanks to build our rods. Nor do we use materials sold by private sellers where the age and storage conditions are not know or controlled. All of the materials used in the assembly of our rods are purchased from reputable rod dealers. These are suppliers that we have used in the past and have a high confidence level in their products.
We also do repair work of fishing rods ranging from tip top replacement to reel seat replacement. No job is too big or too small. We keep a supply of the most common components on hand to get you back on the water faster. When material is available, we will fix your rod on the spot, if possible or within 24 hours if curing is involved. If we do not have the material on hand, repairs will be made within 48 hours after receiving the material. If you’re in Rim Country and damage your rod, give us a call.

KRIM 96.3FM is a Low Power FM (LP-FM) community focused radio station that transmits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and uses no satellite feeds. Established in 2002, KRIM was the first licensed LP-FM station in Arizona. We feature local musicians and actively promote all live music performances in and around Payson.
We support the local schools through the broadcasting and announcing of high school sporting events, the FFA (Future Farmers of America) News Blast, and other numerous activities. We are a supporter of Payson Little League, Rim Country Optimist, Mazatzal Optimist, Soroptimist, Rotary, Lion & Lioness Clubs, Humane Society of Central Arizona, Payson Pro Rodeo Committee, Payson Community Kids and other local non-profit organizations. We have a daily Community Spotlight program that highlights our town, local organizations, businesses, events, and individuals in the community.
We provide entertainment at our Payson Farmers Market, Beeline Classic Car Show, Relay for Life, Optimist Fishing Festival, along with many other events throughout the Rim Country.
KRIM is fully funded by the community it serves through the non-profit corporation, Payson Council for the Musical Arts, Inc. All contributions, underwriting, sponsorships, or other financial support to KRIM is tax deductible.
